Who You Are 
Help Desk Specialists provide support to staff by phone, email, Teams, on site or remote access.Providing first level contact and convey resolutions to staff issues. Properly escalating unresolved queries to the next level of support. Tracking, routing and redirecting problems to correct resources. Providing support in person, over the phone, or via remote access. Diagnosing issues with computer software, peripherals, and hardware. Running software diagnostic tools and physically inspecting hardware systems. Talking to staff through basic problem-solving processes.
Required Experience and Skills 
  • 1 years of experience working in a help desk environment
  • IT network and software troubleshooting experience
  • Network mapping knowledge
  • Available to work regular overtime during busy season December-April
  • Proficiency with a MAC and IOS computers
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
  • Detail oriented (detailed notes on tickets in particular)
  • Highly organized to keep help desk tickets in order and prioritized correctly
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic computer technical issues 
  • IT related degree preferred
  • Understanding multi-session server environment like Citrix
  • knowledge of TCIP
